About me

Pacific Northwest Grown and lover of all things wild, Washington has always been my home. As a youngster, I spent most of my summers enrolled in Boys & Girls Club adventure camps. This and attending Alternative School No. 1 cultivated and nurtured my love for the great outdoors from a young age.

Adventures in Cascadia both then and now continue to shape who I am. Studying Outdoor Recreation and Environmental Studies at WWU in Bellingham further fueled my passion for wild places, deepening my understanding of the intrinsic value these sacred spaces hold for the human spirit and all life on this planet.

The summer before graduation, I took an internship with Orion River Rafting. Not long after, I found myself becoming a seasoned recreational life-styler, living outside for multiple summers as a guide in Washington and Oregon. It was during this time that I picked up a camera again for work and play.

Professional photography runs in my family, and cameras have always been a constant throughout my life. From the days of inheriting a 35mm film camera way back to my current DSLR, taking photos has always been one of my passions. Initially, I shied away from pursuing photography professionally for quite some time as we all strive to choose our own path. Yet, somehow my passions slowly merged with family tradition, and I found a unique love for nature, adventure, and lifestyle photography.

When it comes to many things in life, I think it's best to keep em' wild: people, places, and things. Take lots of photos, leave only footprints - while capturing some of life's essence along the way.
